March 2010

Over a year since my last post!!! Yikes!!

It has been quite a while since my last blog posting. Where does the time go? All three kids have been growing like weeds. Camryn is now 8 1/2, McKenna will be 7 next month and Grayson is 4 1/2 (going on 16!). The kids are amazing little blessings. They sure keep us busy.....so much has changed since I last wrote that I do not even know where to start! So, in birth order....

Camryn: excelling in 3rd grade, reading at a fourth grade level, recently joined the gymnastics team at American Powerhouse Gymnastics, is quite fond of Justice clothing, loves her Heely's, is motivated to complete all her homework and reading just to watch American Idol....the list can go on and on. The bottom line is, Camryn is an amazing little girl full of kindness, love, empathy, understanding and sweetness. She is more than I could ever ask for in an 8 year old daughter. She is perfect in my eyes....love her to pieces.

McKenna: top of her class in 1st grade special day class, reading level 1 books (i.e. kindergarten level), the biggest social butterfly who ever walked the earth, attends American Powerhouse gymnastics in their recreational program, can jump on a trampoline for at least 1 hour if given the opportunity, never ever stops talking, loves playing my iTouch (spelling and puzzle games), think Caillou is 'da bomb', loves wearing dresses and tights, continues to have a lumberjack appetite....I can also go on and on about McKenna. She is a shining star, she makes us smile everyday and can be stubborn as an ox! She, too, is perfect in my eyes....she is a heaven sent angel!

Grayson: counting down the days until he turns 5 and can start kindergarten, has the energy of 5 boys and the curiosity of 1000 cats, loves shooting baskets, has earned a brown belt in Taekwondo but tells us everyday he's done with 'that' and wants to do gymnastics like his sisters, is excited to sign up for Rocklin league soccer in the fall, thinks the Wii is amazing and can drench his clothes while playing, gags on most vegetables, is the greatest sleeping champion.....where do I stop? Grayson is a hoot! He is full of insight and questions....he is quite an amazing part of our family!
