McKenna Talking

McKenna spends most of her day busy as can be and constantly talking. She has to know where everyone is and why. Then she needs to know when they will be back and if they may be bringing her a gift! She is animated, dynamic, funny and just complete joy to have in our lives. Sometimes her high energy level gets a bit overwhelming ....but we feel so grateful she is so energetic and expressive! Here is a long video of McKenna talking. I think everyone will agree with me that she is one amazing little cutie! :o)

Camryn in Hip-hop-ilicious

Camryn participates in dance classes at Dance Elite here in Rocklin, CA. She just had her very first stage performance on December 5th, 2008. Camryn is on the left side of the screen in the beginning and her friend Taylor is on the right. Here is her video....We are soooo proud of her! Enjoy:

Proud Moment with McKenna

This picture was snapped with tears in my eyes.... I had asked McKenna to go practice writing her name on her drawing tablet so I could finish the dishes. I knew she could only write an 'M'. Moments later she came back shouting "Mom!! Mom!!"....I look over at her and to my surprise she actually wrote the word 'MOM'! I just couldn't believe it. The greatest thing is that she understands that letters make words. What a huge accomplishment for our little McKenna. We are soooo proud of her and continue to support her, as usual, with lots of love and positive re-inforcement! Way to go McKenna!!!

Water Play, May 2008

Grayson & McKenna can be the greatest playmates sometimes and today was one of those days. Nothing better than a hose, a bucket of water and a few plastic cups to entertain the little ones....

McKenna's 5th Birthday Party

McKenna's 5th birthday party was a blast! We celebrated in our backyard with a bounce house and a pinata. McKenna was walking on clouds on this day. She shared so many smiles and giggles with us on her big day. Here is a little video of all the fun we had....

Party Time, April 2008

One of the greatest parties we have ever been invited to!

Train Town in Sonoma, California

As we were traveling to Santa Rosa for a birthday party we stopped at a very fun place....Train Town. The kids all had a great time. Grayson had some major issue with riding the little train (loud screaming and sad faces!). All in all it was a wonderful afternoon. Lots of trains, farm animals and a long over due visit with our long time friend, Robin.

Camryn & McKenna

Sisters and Friends Forever.... These two little girls have such an amazing bond!

Grayson and Crazy Hats

Our Newest Member of the Family...MARLEY

Some how the kids...mostly Camryn....talked us into opening our home to a kitten. So, at the end of February we met our new kitty at the Placer County SPCA. She had many proposed names (Libby, Miley, Bindi, to name a few) but ended up with the name Marley. She has become such a fun part of our family. She is outgoing, playful and very confident with herself. She eats a little too often, as compared to Logan our older cat, and has developed a little pooch. Marley get along with all of us so well even Logan. The two of them absolutely adore each other....it is pretty cute.

Helping Daddy Vacuum, March 2003

McKenna and Grayson have this complete obession with the vacuum cleaner. Pretty cute but it sure takes a little longer to get the job done. :o)

Vacation in South Lake Tahoe, February 2008

We had such a wonderful time on our mini vacation to South Lake Tahoe with John, Carri and Andy. The eight of us shared the cutest little cabin for four days and three nights. The snow was amazing, the kids were well behaved and the wine was plentiful! We look forward to many more good times with the Hunt Family....they are amazing friends!

Indoor Soccer Has Begun

On January 26th all three kids began an 8 week session playing indoor soccer. McKenna & Grayson are in a class together and Camryn is with the bigger kids. Ross and I had a great time watching the kids explore the concept of soccer on their first day. Grayson basically got the idea of only using his feet but was distracted by the basketball hoop. McKenna was a little speed-demon running all over the gym chasing her ball. It was great to see her use her feet (at least 95% of the time). Camryn had a nice surprise and learned her best friend from kindergarten was on her soccer team. In warm ups Camryn was the fastest kid in the gym. Neither of us knew she could sprint sooooo fast! All three kids had a blast. We are looking forward to the next 2 months of indoor soccer.

Playing at the park

Camryn & McKenna have such a wonderful friendship. They laugh together, protect each other, snuggle on the couch, play dress up and genuinely care for one another. They share a room and prefer to go to bed together.... with lots of hugs and kisses goodnight. Watching their relationship grow over the last year has been a lot of fun. I can only image the bond they are creating as kids will continue to grow as they become adults.

Here are the girls swinging on the tire swing....they loved it!

Cutie on the Kitchen Counter

Camryn, McKenna & Grayson love to be on the kitchen counter! How can we resist these cute little faces?

McKenna's Christmas Wish Comes True

Weeks before Christmas, McKenna started asking for a bike from Santa. Her word for 'bike' is 'bikey' and she made sure everyone around her knew exactly what she hoped Santa would bring her. Now how could Santa resist? :o)
